It is their fault....they wanted to avoid the Taxes of living in an Incorporated city. They need to be suing their developers not Scottsdale.

Yet they keep building houses and there’s no law requiring disclosure of the water issue, it’s insane!

They never show images of the 2 golf courses in Rio Verde.

Why doesn’t Rio Verde just agree to pay Scottsdale taxes for the water? It seems they just want free water for nothing. Yet everyone who lives out there is super rich it’s a rich persons little town not a poor town. They don’t need charity they can help themselves.

NOW maybe you folks in Rio Verde will actually work TOGETHER to find a solution. The problem is your and yours alone !!!

Save your lawsuit money because you're not going to win. Convince those other residents of Rio Verde that creating a water district isn't "Big Government."

You have to have solutions now. It's way too late to hope and pray. I do feel bad for the people who wanted to do something like creating the water district, building a well, etc. Then there's those that were afraid of a water district because it meant more government or had no sense of urgency on this matter.

My brother-in-law lives off grid in colorado. He has his own truck with a tank in the bed and he goes and he drives and finds his OWN water and brings it back. They might just have to haul it themselves.

Rio Verde should have to pay for all Scottsdale's legal fees. What were you think Rio Verde? That a desert magically has water? Geezzee

Man made lakes with liners north of the Rio Verde Foothills community, with a water treatment facility, a large well tower, and a small retention dam in the Verde River with metal adjustable levee gate, piping and pump station to pump water to one of the man made lakes for the water treatment facility to process from the small retention dam at the Verde River. The other man made lake south of the water facility for the sludge from the screens being cleaned out, and water used to clean the screens out that the water treatment facility uses to remove the heavier particles from the water being treated. A tee for future city water mains and the other side for a water trucks filling station near the well tower. In the future once there is water mains that go to the Rio Verde Foothills community and the one north west of there and any future projects the additional above or below ground wells with separate pump stations would increase water volume and pressure. Of course each home would have a city water main tap with meter. The home owner would be responsible for connecting or paying a plumbing company to connect the residences water main to the meter at the city taps meter box.

Clean running water SHOULD be a human right. 'Water isn't a compassion business', yeah okay.
I think what gets me even more than this, is that when people put in water saving landscaping instead of 'pretty green grass', they get into trouble for it. Don't use as much water, as long as you make sure your yard matches everyone else's.

So glad I left AZ.

Just pay someone to bring a tanker of water by train then truck it into the community. Problem solved.

Just drill for the water like the Fly Geyser, Nevada or n the ocean water to distilled water by using solar energy or use dehumidifiers for home to turn the air into the waters

I have a Good idea what about the snow from the East Coast or other places and maybe 🤔🤔🤔🤔 make it to Tax break for the trailer and other equipment and training centers and other training from the other states and jobs for each state.

The developers and the real estate agents and their home company, all need to be sued! And you Arizonia voters, this is the actual outcome of Republican conservative values

can they sue the county/state
city of Scottsdale for allowing development without proof of 100 year water supply?
