эти песни...просто вау...но не только эта, но и любая другая песня Crystal castles . Просто все их песни заставляют чувствовать фобии .Чувствовать как тогда ты одинокий в одной комнате сдирал с себя кожу, и плакал .впадал в депрессию, но почему-то, потом так проницательно хочется танцевать и смеяться, что это все закончилась, а ты тут стоишь и слушаешь эти песни которые несут в себе кучу настольгии, грусти, холода и прочее.Но при всем этом так хочется чего нибудь такого .И вот оно - эти песни.Просто не описать как душераздирающе.

if anyone wants some info on the allegations??(about sa) this was a little under 10 years ago, i was curious and did some research so here you go:

apparently, ethan kath, 10 years older than alice glass, started preying on her since she was 15, convincing her to drop out of school, etc. her wiki page also says she ran away from home at 15 and joined a "squat community of punks" and i can't be asked to figure out how that adds up.

anyways in oct. 2014, she "via a Facebook post, announced that she was leaving Crystal Castles, that the band was finished, and that she intended to pursue a solo career. Crystal Castles' manager assured fans that the band would continue without her." (this is from wikipedia)

they replaced alice with edith frances, they released i think 13 songs, and did a world tour. it was super successful so they planned to do another one, but then alice spoke out and it was cancelled.

in the meantime alice has been making songs solo, supporting RAINN (an anti sexual-assault organisation) and generally spreading sexual assault awareness.

again from wikipedia: "In October 2017, Glass posted a statement on her official website explaining her departure from Crystal Castles, accusing co-founder Ethan Kath of sexual, physical, and mental abuse. The accusations detail the abuse starting when Glass was 15 and began recording with Kath and escalated until her eventual departure from Crystal Castles."

after that the band became inactive. here is a reddit comment(??idk what it's called, not a post, op said something like "what happened to crystal castles?" about it to sum it up..from u/canfan97: "Hate to break it to you, but after Alice glass outed him as a bit of a preying, manipulative weirdo freak, I don't think there'll be any crystal castles music any time soon. Makes his case look worse that he just found another female with similar vocal style to replace Alice. I'd imagine Ethan Kath is currently living off of the royalties granted from Tik Tok picking up on crystal castles in past couple years."

this is so long but if anyone wants to read it, here you go. alice, i'm pretty sure, still makes music, at least her last song was in 2022 (correct me if i'm wrong, i'm using wikipedia) so you can still support her if you so wish

Потрясающая группа. Мне безумно нравится. Я чувствую такие смешанные эмоции, что даже не могу понять из-за чего чувствую себя так подавлено.. Лежу в больнице больше 2 недель и ко мне подкрадываются разного вида мысли. Кажется, что все друзья общаются со мной из жалости или временно. Пугают экзамены и будущее в целом.. Пока что не вижу конкретных решений, либо предполагаю их решение, но не нахожу в себе сил справиться со всеми гнетущими мыслями
