There are so many urban legends and mythological creatures that it’s hard to keep track. From folklore to incredible tales meant to explain the world - we have 20 mythical creatures today that all, in some form or another, existed in real life. There are some incredible stories that all wow and shock, and indeed have for centuries (or even millennia)... but what if these monsters really DID walk the earth? Make sure you watch through to the end for some creatures you’d be surprised to have very humble beginnings... You’ll have to watch to the end to see what I mean!

Wolves 🐺 are my all time favorite animals and I have been fascinated with the Japanese myth of the nine-tailed fox 🦊 ever since I saw both Vulpix and Nintales in the Pokémon anime series 👍❤️

The picture of the Kraken is actually the picture of the Chuthulu, one of the old gods

A mythical creature I can hardly find any information on is the Huldra. I have been told there is only one book that has any considerable information on her. She is a forest nymph with the appearance of a woman, has a hole in her back and fox like tail. I would like to see a whole documentary about her and the Native American “Deer Woman.” Both of these are two fascinating creatures I feel are being ignored or forgotten about over time.

My favorite mythical creature is Joe Mama. Large enough to block out the sun, insightful enough to sell shade, small enough to turn sideways and disappear, yet sits on a TV and watches the couch. An enigma!!!

I've seen a dragon before, just barely. They showed me the outer edges of their body in form, but when I assumed they were someone else they looked like they were about to cry, and then they disappeared into the invisible light they omitted to hide. But I at least saw them for some time.

My favourite was Blemmyae. U missed: Medusa, the 9 headed snake, the lion with a human body, mermaids, the horse with a human's chest and head and the goat with a human's chest and head

If anyone wants to know, the basis behing the Loch Ness Monster is that Loch Ness is a large lake in Scotland, a truely beautiful location. The fact that the lake is so, so deep, and the lake is basically in a valley, means that the wind passage is different to flat land. Many people observe eerie ripples in the lake, almost as if a large, ridge-backed plesiosaur like animal was gently gliding across the surface of the water. The possibility a still existent Plesiosaur in a lake in Scotland is very slim, it is more likely the deep water and wind movement.

I think Sea Monsters are the scariest. I'll be a little less terrified if It's a werewolf

I thought the title of this was supposed to be mythical creatures that actually existed, but to say the Krackin was actually a Whirlpool or dangerous Waters isn't exactly going along with the title. And the dire wolf could have been 5 ft there's hybrids of dogs that are bigger than that.
