How to turn VAILLANT heating ON or OFF with Remote Control!

How do you just turn the heating on or off with the Vaillant boiler remote control? I show how to easily turn the heating on and off PLUS the 3 modes which turn the timer off and either keep the heating on all the time (Comfort Mode), off all the time (Setback Mode), or turn the boiler, timer and heating off all at once (Summer Mode). This is for the Valliant VRT 350f controller for our Vaillant Ecofit Pure boiler.

Hi and thank you so much for this. Solved my issues with your video. I’m a fan of tech but this interface is beyond useless! So obscure, even the heating engineer was struggling. Surely there’s an upgrade to a simpler timer. Or dare I say an app?

I have an older version. There is no sun or moon, and my room temperature is 18. I put the desired temperature at 19. I need only my radiator in the bathroom to work. However, it doesn't heat. I used to put on 23 or 24, but I recently received a very high bill for gas.

What if "desired temperature" disappeared? It's been there for the last 10 years and now gone. VBattery is brand new. Heating turns on but we don't see the temperature on the remote.

I wish they'd use normal terminolgy... like normal words... to turn the heating off, you have to go to 'set back mode'. Why not just have an 'off' option? 'Set back mode' doesn't even switch it off. Or go to 'Summer mode'. None of it actually makes sense
