This calculus video tutorial explains how to find first order partial derivative of a function with three variables. It provides a brief explanation of partial derivatives and then one example of differentiating function with respect to z variable.
Partial derivatives are just like regular derivatives, but they are for multivariable functions. This means we are taking derivatives of functions with more than one variable.
In this video we are going to work on only changing one of the variables, while the remaining variables are held fixed. Please watch my other video where I explain and solve an example of higher order derivatives, where we will allow multiple variables to change.
