It is important to work with these nations well and not cause chicken banning because of bad relationship like now.

If we need to permanently pay exorbitant prices for imported live chickens. Why not develop chicken farming in Singapore to support local businesses. Can think of high rise farming? We need affordable and stable food supply.

The rest is just excuses, the real reason is Profiteering. They are just trying to trying to raise the previous contratual prices. Its is just to screen the real cause rather than the excuse put up to control their domestic poultry prices.
