This is a great guide! Thanks for taking the time to help some Apple users find a solution to use their existing laptops. Here are a couple quick notes from our lead Software Engineer and developer of our Flash Wizard:
For anyone attempting to do this, the safest route is to run Parallels to ensure a true virtual Windows machine to avoid any odd driver issues. Also, please note any customers using an IE V3 POWERlink cable (serial number on the back starts with V3, not V4), we highly recommend avoiding any type of virtual machine as the update process can result in bad firmware being sent to your cable and can transform it into a nice little paperweight.

Have you actually flashed an ECU successfully running Flash Wizard w. Power link v4 inside a virtual machine (on Apple Silicon)?

All I got was a black screen, maybe bc I don’t have a Windows key 😔
