Civic pride is something we have here in Las Vegas. He nailed it, when he said “there’s people here from all over the country”!!! YES, the majority of people here, ARE transplanted from somewhere else. I’ve been here 35 years & come from the East coast so there’s MANY people here that know & love hockey. The “newbies” to the sport are equally enthusiastic about THIS hockey team. They were born here & they helped a city bond together & have something to believe in after the shooting.

Fans were pissed when they got rid of Gallant for DEBOER!!! Same with the way Fleury was dismissed.

I think everyone in this town is overjoyed with the Knight’s & I’m pretty sure we’ll see MORE GK license plates than Raider’s!!! My car is all LVGK. Even my tire caps. Thank you for a great season. Omg we get to raise our FIRST Stanley Cup Champion Wow that’s gonna be awesome!!!

We will always have THIS Cup & THIS season, where EVERYONE had a helping hand. I was happy to see all of the Silver Knight’s wearing their Golden Knight’s uniforms & raising the Cup bcuz they WERE a part of our WINNING!!! It was truly a team effort. Not just 4 goalies, but the “carousel” of players. That MAY BE the reason we had 4 lines.

So proud of this team. Ignoring “hater’s” gets easier EVERY time we WIN. Go KNIGHTS GO!!!

Congratulations to McPhee and Cassidy and that organization. Not the most well liked team in the NHL but they did it their way and the success out of the block 6 years ago is really uprecedented.
