I'm very new to sewing so it was nice to see a small selection from companies that make modern patterns. so fun!

You've made me want to take a second look at some of these patterns I've previously passed on. Thank-you. 👏👏❤️❤️❤️

New subscriber, beginner sewer, came to your channel because I didn't know what an "Indie" pattern was. Now I do and I appreciate your recommendations. Also, love your delivery.

The old paper cut packaging was even cuter with a hanger on it!💙💜💙❤

Thanks so much for doing this pattern haul, sis. I must admit that I never think of shopping indie pattern designers but I will now.

OAN, love your hair! 💕💕

Wow! These are all amazing indie patterns. I love true bias patterns! I have the closet case pattern Fiore skirt. I'm looking forward to making that. I just completed my first pair of lander pants. I love those pants. FYI I really don't think you'll need to widen the pant pattern. They are pretty wide already. Great video! I like the idea of doing a pattern haul with the intentions of building a more practical wardrobe. Love this! Thanks for sharing!

I also love the look of the Ogden cami but I haven't purchased it because I found the Itch to Stitch Crystal Cove Cami is excellent for large breasted women like myself. I'm also a fan of the tulip cross over at the back of the Crystal Cove cami. I have quite a few of the patterns you showed...the Sasha pants, Lander pants...haven't made them yet as my sewing list is so long!

I’ve been planning on making the Hudson pants too. Love your pattern haul.

I recently made the palisade pants from
Papercut patterns. After making 2 muslins because I apparently have weird legs, I absolutely love them! I made a capri length in a stretch denim, and am planning on one or two long pants in this pattern as well. I did make a slightly narrower waistband with 1.5" elastic, as the one drafted seemed excessive. I may go a bit narrower next time, with 1.25" elastic.

Great haul. I've been eyeballing a few of these patterns for a while now. Maybe it's time to purchase.

I'm working on the sapporo coat now. I'm adding an internal ribbed cuff in the sleeves that will go to my wrist. I have other winter coats with that type of sleeve.

Great choices. 3 of my favorites (and my 1st Indie pattern purchases) were by Deer and Doe 1- The Magnolia Dress 2-The Narcisse Pants 3- The Cirroco Jumpsuit. On list are more Deer and Doe and several by Sewaholic Patterns.

could you do a video on how to buy fabric? Like I am new to sewing and I want to sew more but I don't have a 'stash', and I am in college on budget both financially and space wise but I want to make my own clothes so that they fit me better and fit into my life but I feel stuck on how to start

I thought everybody else had the Ogden Camo except me, can't wait to see if you add some Style Sew Me flair to it. :-)

Smiling right now because I thought I was the only one who felt that way about pockets 🤪
