Wolf moon: Huge January full moon spotted in Denver

The first full moon of 2024 will shine bright in the sky this week.

January's full moon, also known as the wolf moon, will reach its peak at 12:54 p.m. Eastern on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 25, according to NASA. The space agency explains that the moon will appear full in the sky for about 3 days, from early Wednesday through early Friday morning.
