Converting your bike back to a full 27.5" bike from a mixed-wheel size setup can affect your geometry, so it's worth doing appropriate research before making the change.

I have a 29er frame and 140 travel at the rear. The frame was designed from 140 travel FR But I put on a 27s FR and I liked it better than my other full 29 bike. I decided to to play with the geo and put on my 27.5 with 180 fork, and 26" with 8.5x2.5 and I liked that way better. It feels so much better than what the bike is design from. The. Most improvement is handling downhill, the control going down fast has astronomically improved. I might try to buy a 29er fork with 180 trave and put a 27.5 in the rear on the future but I dont think I'll do it anytime soon since I'm loving this bike so much now.

I did this with my Orange phase MX that was a mullet. The travel was 170mm before the swap. Now running 27.5 forks and wheel and increased the travel to 180. This has kept the geo spot on with factory 63deg head angle as standard. The bike feels a lot better running x2 27.5 and has no negative issues

Putting a different fork and wheel, by definition, is changing the intended use of the bike. If well considered, then you just have a new bike.
For example, i did this with a hardtail mtb to make a gravel bike, with a shorter travel 27.5 fork, which changed the geometry to be more appropriate for gravel road use. I calculated all the geometry changes and its great.

Did the opposite, put a 29 on a 27.5 bike. I plan to drop the fork travel to retain factory geo when I get the maintenance fluids in

I had a 29er frame I was going to scrap and 27.5 wheels just lying around also lots of spare parts then I had the idea to smash them together to build a spare bike for road going friends to use to try get them into mtb, i couldn't believe how amazing it turned out and I have actually been using constantly.

I would like to make my 2010 xc bike a mullet with 27.5 in the front. Should work, as long as the frame is willing to..
