Archontiko Katerina, Vizitsa, HD Review

Situated a 15-minute drive from Afissos Beach and Koropi Beach, the traditionally built Archontiko Katerina in the protected settlement of Vizitsa, offers romantic-style rooms with panoramic views to the Pagasetic Gulf and Mt Pelion. A homemade breakfast is served by the fireplace or at the blossomed garden.
Rooms at the Katerina have handmade lace curtains, carved beech furnishings, anatomic mattresses, wooden, hand-carved ceilings and awarded handmade embroideries. Each room includes state-of-the-art air conditioning units, individual heating, fridge and TV. Some units feature a fireplace while others have four-poster beds. In the bathroom, guests will find free, hypoallergenic toiletries and a hairdryer.
The rich breakfast, includes a variety of homemade flavours, such as homemade savoury and sweet pies, homemade jams prepared with local fruit, local eggs and chocolate cake. It is prepared daily with fresh products and organic olive oil by the owner, who has won a culinary award.
The communal sitting room where guests can relax, features comfortable sofas, TV and fireplace. The owners are happy to provide information on the area. Activities in the surrounding area include hiking.
Guests may reach the centre of Vizitsa Village with several restaurants, café bars and shops selling local products within a 5-minute walk. The scenic villages of Milies and Pinakates are within a 5-minute drive. Kala Nera is 6.2 miles away. The town of Volos is at 15.5 miles.
