Ego is so afraid of truth. Because it knows truth gets in the way of its control over you. It needs to control you because it's trying to keep itself safe. It resides in the subconscious of your mind, so it cant tell the difference between real danger and perceived danger. It thinks ANY type of danger is life threatening.

And to gain control, you emotionally have to lose it first.

Also Teal, your message about “removing the patterns I’ve created for survival” has reached out to me countless times.

Story about why my dad had such power over me, no matter how many times I’ve forgiven him/hated him. When i did hate him i felt hate towards myself which i couldnt understand.
So i had to admit to self hate towards this aspect of myself, until I’ve realised that at some point of my life when my heart/self esteem was broken, my ego created a protective mechanism and i took my dad as a role model, because it would grant me survival.
Until i have resolved this, i finally became free individual.

This is so 100% true. I literally just moved to New York from California and I've lived here before solely to produce shows then I got here and got all freaked out all the details my ego kicked in hardcore panicking and I was not like that when I left I was hopeful and expectant. And then I realized exactly that I don't have to do this by myself I have a lot of support I can rely on other people. Hard to let go of that control for sure specially when you have childhood stuff
