I respect traditional jazz, but this kind of electronic fusion stuff is way more fun.

So sick. Would love to hear an album exploring this kind of vibe.

Dexterity is ridiculous… creativity other-worldly… pure mastery … wishing for a fusion album soon… 🙏😉

Wow! 🤯 This is amazing 🤩. I lost it. You & Robert Glasper are my favorite pianists!

DUDE. Huge props on an incredible performance. I dream to be half the musician you are one day. Bravo

Another great one. I always ask myself what is improvised and what composed and laid down in Notation, especially the unisono parts piano/synth in this tune. If composed, how long do you practice to do this by memorizing it and how do you rehearse when playing with bassist, drummer - notesheets, playing it right away or practicing the hard parts and put everything together chronologically…questions over questions. .anyway the sky is the limit and you‘re constantly scratching the roof

Sounds like Anomolie, if you’re hip to him. He’s a great pianist too :)
nicholascolletto
Playing patterns very quickly on tempo and repeating it. using the whole register of the piano. and modulating.
These are all good skills to complement composition. But they should not be the end goal of in itself.
When i finished the video, i was left with a feeling of wow this dude is fast, but the music does not leave you with anything.
Writing a theme and taking time to develop has a lot of more meaning than creating mood boards to show ones skills
