A tip I just discovered....
You can't use the 6 channel (AR6210) if you want to use the failsafe as you've described.

From the Manual :
"With SmartSafe, when signal is lost the throttle channel only is driven to its preset fail safe position (normally low throttle) while all other channels hold last command."

So that means that ONLY the throttle works as you've described for the 6210 as everything else goes to "Last Command" (including the flight mode)

Seems the 8000 is the only choice.

Very thankful for this review! I'm new to this hobby and was very confused at first. However, you cleared most of my questions! I'm very impressed with all the DJI and Spektrum products!

Hello Alex you done a great job explaining the setup procedures. Can I program my Wookong H using this same setup procedures., or is there a difference?

That's actually a good question. I've never tried fail-safe around a hill to check if the wookong gains height. My guess is it won't do that but I will try to find out.

I can conform this, especially with 4S.But lot of others of same material would fail too @ 10'', at least with 4S.

I recommend for the F-500 Hex the Graupner's 9x5'' E-Props (the 10x5'' push too much). The F-550 will fly perfectly with Graupner's 9x5 E-Props and they are nearly unbreakable. The center hole can be easily drilled to the shaft size of the stock motors. Use 8mm tooth lock washers under the prop fastener.

Wunderbar review! Helped me to select the f550 with the Wokong GPS System, thanks! But shouldn't really that huge battery in the end been carried below cog and not on top? Thanks from Norway

Hello and thanks Alex for this very well articulated video.
I confirm also about the DJI props, broke twice in flight... I replaced with Graupner 10x5 and my Naza 550 is now way better and more reactive than before. Vibration can be reduced with a good props balancing.

It's not necessary to center the NAZA. Basically you can place it anywhere. Just the forward pointing direction is important. Eyeball it. At the center you have the best chance to avoid vibration probs.
