Backstory:
- Procession was held at Harbor UCLA medical hospital in Torrance
- Deceased officer is identified as Chad Swanson(35 y/o), was a father or three little boys, had worked 13 years(and counting) in the department and was well known for his role in saving lives in the Las Vegas Route 91 mass shooting
- He was on his way to work when the crash occurred, in his police motorcycle
- CHP is taking over the investigation, no confirmed information has been released on how the crash was caused/who is at fault. However, according to Lt. Steve Carapia of the CHP, a vehicle in the collision “may have been traveling at an unsafe speed and possibly conducted an unsafe lane change”
- 5 vehicles involved, including the motorcycle, with the other drivers of the vehicles suffering minor injuries

Condolences and prayers to his family and the Manhattan beach police Department for going through such a tragedy
