Why doesn't all Evian water freeze? 1-10-2015 | Organic Slant

Wonders why not all my Evian water bottles froze after spending a night in freezing temperatures?

The water drops lived in the alps.. They're like the spetnaz of water. They never freeze.

purified water, such as evian or fiji, has no nucleation point. So, if a bottle of water sits undisturbed in freezing temperature or the freezer it usually won't freeze. If you'd have just dropped a sand grain of ice into that water, it would've started the nucleation process which would've instantly frozen the whole bottle of water!

if you'd like to test this theory, you may use the evian water, or any other type of purified bottled water. Just place the bottle/s of water in the freezer, leave them UNDISTURBED (a disturbance can start the nucleation process so don't even open the freezer while your waiting) for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, time varies due to diff Temps and where you placed the bottles. After it's time, get a cup of crushed ice, remove the bottles, place your finger in the crushed ice...make sure when you remove your finger from the ice that there's at least a tiny piece of ice on your finger, then place your finger in the water bottle and watch it instantly slush/freeze!

i was shocked too, today was 14 degrees F, and all my water bottles in the car froze, except the Evian...
