I was laughing my head off when you talked about your Dad saying he didn't want electric windows as that is what I remember as a kid when we went to the 1978 motor show at the NEC and all I wanted was my Dad to get a car with electric windows and he said exactly the same thing, "its just something else to go wrong" God I miss my Dad. This Christmas season I cached a cold, a persistent one, wasn’t covid, but hard to overcome, a lot of family members with similar symptoms…Didn’t understood the reason but I think that the downgrading of whether temperatures coughed us all by surprise, I imagine. Although, we’re having an happy Christmas family reunion and I make here my wishes for you to have solved fast and assertively the personal issues that were worrying you!

We’re surviving on veggies this year. Tesco and Aldi are doing bags of Potatoes, Broccoli, Carrots, Parsnips and Brussels sprouts for 15p. What more do you need!

I have a Volkswagen golf with an electric sunroof. The motor has packed up and it will cost me nearly £1000 to replace! Should have listened to Chopsy's dad! Merry Christmas everyone.

The bird in Asda couldn't have given less of a shit if they had any Turkey. Spent many an hour nursing a brew in the cafe there until being kicked out when i was kid in the 80s. Thanks for keeping us entertained throughout the year.

Re: electric windows.
Your did was correct! Every car I've owned that had electric windows suffered reliability problems with said window mechanism. Every car I've owned that had wind-up windows never had a single problem with them.

i had a large LIDL Goose this year, slow cooked delish. made a curry out of the remains yesterday with homemade onion chutney and mint yoghurt plus popadoms. If I had to buy a GS or became a lottery winner it would be the green one, yum yum. Chill for a while, and see you soon john
