@blo0magic true. it takes way longer just to do some easy movements and stuff, i have to go to the tool pallete all the time and constantly know if it was REALLY a "SMART" tool, it would do what i want it to do instead of always switching the damn modes.

MIDI editing is slower than before.. Agree with @blo0magic. I know it was a good intention, but is taking some time just to change the modes..

the automation changing is painful too.. if I want to delete nods of all automations I just can't.. So, more wasted time.

some tools are really great, but other are hard to work flow...

8.5 was REALLY cluttered, with x1, you dont get that!

they made the midi editing harder.. i honestly don't think they made this better. It was so easier with setting up one tool that can drag, draw, and erase. The tool has gotten so annoying. My work flow is 10 times slower... this is ridiculous.
