A good rule of thumb is to fit a ball to your wedges and irons and then build your driver around the ball. Makes sense since drivers can be adjusted to fit ideal launch conditions. Love his swing and tempo.

If ur a high spin guy, The LS could be a good option for a lower spin urethane ball.. It is definitely a different animal than the std chromsoft line. I couldn't keep it in the air, myself. I usually play tp5x. Other great low spin options would be left dash and z-star xv.

How much difference is 200/500 rpm of spin going to make to a mid hcp golfer, I mean that’s spin per minute it’s next to no difference, plus subject to strike, I bet over a year you wouldn’t notice jack 💩 of a difference

I had that ball for a while but the durability lost me. Switched to Bridgestone BX5 and the spin control around the greens is phenomenal

I wish I was good enough to know my spin before impact. I have my distances dialed in to about 5 yards give or take and if I can hole out it’s just luck

As a teaching professional I am persuaded to think Xander has the most solid swing on the men’s tour. Lydia Ko has the best swing on the women’s tour but both are slightly behind Mickey Wright who I believe had the best swing I ever saw. Ben Hogan, Harvie Ward, and Byron Nelson said the same thing just to add a little credibility to my opinion.

There is no such thing as a high launch low launch golf ball according to TGX lol. Unless you’re hitting two drastically different balls for that test.

Callaway shouldn’t even call the thing a “low spin” golf ball. Chrome Softs have always been a higher spin ball than competitors in the space and knocking 200-300 spin off of it does nothing for the players that truly need a lower spin ball. Previous generation TP5X, ProV1X left dash, and Tour BX (or AVX) are far superior for guys with high swing speed and high spin.
