Hi lovelies, today I have a really quick and easy way for you to make your own homemade gingerbread syrup. I think it makes a great DIY Christmas gift and even if there is not much time left until Christmas, you still have time to make this as it is so quick and easy to make :) In my video I am also sharing a couple of serving suggestions for different types of coffee-drinks. However, you can also use this syrup for other drinks like hot chocolate, warm milk or cocktails and you can use it for different kind of desserts as well, as a sauce on top. Ingredients:
- 200g (1 cup) brown sugar
- 2 tbsp gingerbread spice
- 3-4 tbsp molasses
- 250ml (1 cup) water
Preparation instructions in the video.
Allow the gingerbread syrup to cool completely before storing it in a closed jar or a bottle in the fridge. The gingerbread syrup keeps good for a month in the fridge.
