Shout out to the fact that this short film visually references so many things. Her cabaret/jazz singer roots; but also this interwar struggling arts cabaret vibe, with a touch of early two thousands; the little white swan moment - like it’s got so many disparate elements but it all comes together so I wasn’t expecting more vids after the album got released but tbh I don’t even know why because each project came with so many video offerings. Each one has been an immense treat, I hope we get a couple more. (If the Execs would be so kind…)

I had the pleasure years ago of selling FKA a phone once. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t know who she was at the time. I noticed the attention she was getting and asked her who she was. She was the loveliest about it, humble and not expecting me to know. I became a huge fan shortly after.
