I rented one a year ago for a couple hours in Gatlinburg TN. First, I will say that it's worth the couple hundred bucks to rent for a few hours to cruise around on mountain roads on a nice day honestly. But I wouldn't want to buy one. Because this will be driven about a dozen times by a buyer, then it won't see the road much after that. All it is really is a 4 cylinder go-kart you need a license for, and know how to drive a stick shift (which unfortunately I've noticed you'll see clutches in these more than normal cars now). I've never driven a motorcycle, never will, but I imagine that's better all around. But if you're wondering of this ride's quality, pretty much comfortable to sit in, average sports suspension, clutch is as stiff as a v6 mustangs from the early 2000s. Would I rent one again? Absolutely. But I wouldn't pay more than 4 grand to buy one, so 30 grand is a little bit on the questionable side

How does it handle ? Being a 3 wheeler....does the tail Slide out ? Just mid engine, front and rear wheel drive even all wheel drive ....but never a 3 wheeler....

I was looking into buying one! I am 5'3 do you think I would be able to reach the gas pedal? I saw somewhere that adjustable seats have to be added on occasionally. Thanks for the video!

did you notice how noisy the belt drive is on these .. I rented one.. my god . the noise from the engine and the belt drive drowns out the radio at highway speeds.. I test drove a slr .. $29000.. I'm sorry but if I was to spend $29k I would just get a mazda mx-5 cause let's face is .. the slingshot is not a motorcycle

I had the pleasure to rent one of these for a day and I got to say it was a blast. but I do got a couple things to mention

The pedals are really crammed together, and the clutch pedal is especially close to the floor. I had to take off my shoes and my heel was still running on the floor with my ankle completely cocked forward. That really is the only issue I had but I got used to it soon enough.

I do still have some complaints though: it idles around 1100 rpm and I had to rev above 2000 for it to not stall on starts.

Also the gears are realllly short but there's not torque at idle. This thing has all it's torque at redline so you get the slowest launches I've ever experienced. Though once you're in third it's a pleasure to drive.

Downshifting is a breeze and it has some pep in it, as long as you remain above 3000 rpms

I'm trying to determine between a Ducati panigale 1299 and this. Just don't like sound of it. The look of it is amazing!
