HDR10+ is the advanced, improved version of HDR10, a technology that makes photos and videos look more vivid and lifelike. The Samsung Galaxy S10 series is the first to support mobile HDR10+, followed by the Galaxy Note10, Note10+, and Galaxy Fold.

A supported device or service like YouTube is needed to play HDR10+ videos correctly. When sharing HDR10+ videos they will be converted automatically by the Gallery app to standard dynamic range, this allows for sharing on sites that don't support HDR10+.

If the HDR10+ video option is grayed out this indicates your rear camera is set to UHD (60 fps) 3840X2160 resolution, change it to any other resolution without 60FPS and then enable the HDR10+ setting. You can make this change in the same camera settings in the "Rear video size" menu.

HDR10+ video recording is currently only available on the rear camera.
