It’s normal for women today to have the mindset, “I am woman—hear me roar!” But this model didn’t work for Eve, it hasn’t worked for the feminist movement, and it won’t work for you and me. Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Mary Kassian, and their friends discuss how to find true fulfillment and joy—in God’s design for us as women.

The first time I heard this and read the chapter. I hated it and literally said "yuck" I don't want it. Every chapter of this book was so hard to read. But learning to live and trust God with my gender, womanhood, and motherhood, is a lot less stressful than handling it myself. 🌻 pretty sure largely due to Feminism, none of my classmates want children or families in university.

What Danah says at 3:53 really impacted me. There are so many things that I'm allowing into my mind without being careful about if they are affecting my beliefs in God and God's Word. I know that isn't the main message of the video, but that is what really stuck out to me, and I will keep that and be more careful about what I'm looking at and listening to.

~14:19 I have to respectfully disagree with Mary. "No gods, no masters" is atheism, not feminism. I agree with some of the objectives of feminism, but I still believe myself to absolutely be under the authority of God. I believe that some of these movements were started because God is in control, and His gospel/truth has been distorted to fit the objectives of certain groups.
