Long story short. In the early 80’s, a friend who owned a bike shop had a A65 650 lightening (twin clocks). We were at a rally, but asked if I would go and open the shop, saying I could take said bike (40 miles away). Not being one to miss out on an opportunity like that, I agreed. Bloody fantastic bike, really quick, sharp handling, but the brakes were a little worrying. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride there and back.
