So many malls in Sengkang. There's Compass One, Rivervale Mall, Rivervale Plaza, Seletar Mall and now Sengkang Grand Mall. There's also a upcoming New Anchorvale Village.

there's 1 holland mall too and it's an open-air concept! now is a good time to visit especially they have so many Christmas deco!!!

Because "buang" itself not really a good term, hence they call it Sengkang instead. It's a pity, because the chinese translation of "Buangkok" essentially means "Thousand Nations". Not sure why "thousand" gets pronounced as "buang" in english.

Sengkang g estate and Buangkok just side by side. Same like the Mrt. Buangkok Mrt exit has so many eateries. This mall make the place busier. So compass 1 is larger but waterway point largest

Sengkang = 盛港 = prosperous harbour. It used to be a fishing village.

Ojisan, try checking out Holland Village Mall, pet friendly Mall, loads of Japanese restaurants. Very atas, no such thing as Collins 😂
