I’m here right now helping with flood cleanup with samaritans purse just a few doors down from this poor gentleman’s house. So much work and the house we’re doing right now didn’t have a basement or garage. Can’t imagine the added work that both those will take us.

So you want to live on a flood plain? Want to live next to a river, lake or Ocean? Trust that all three levels of your govt have your best interests at heart? Or figure oh heck I was able to get insurance so I'm covered because they're so trustworthy. Funny how banks and insurance companies don't seem to have any trouble lending and insuring in these area's. It's called research, it's called common sense folks.
