Seed handpan - Brass pan prototype

My first pan made of brass alloy (1,2 mm handsunk brass sheet). Originally it should be totally different scale, but I found out that the note sizes I made can be tuned much lower than I expected. So the scale now is Bb2/ Db3 F3 Ab3 Bb3 C4 Db4 Eb4. I am really happy with the result, thought this kind of brass alloy is not the best I could choose, but it has a lot of potencial. I have the same material for another one pan, and after that I will experiment further with different alloys ;-).

hello there, any possibilities if you can try aluminium, silver or nickel. what about cast iron? there is also combination alloys like bronze or just copper and tin. maybe even lead?

Is there any difference between steel and brass, Im hydroforming steels, Is it possible to hydroform brass ?
