edit from the future: Fit seems different & slightly subpar than Pro 2, even with Spinfit CP1025. I think it's the eay they designed the nozzles/angles this time. Definitely "fun-fi" tuning. Ended up with the following EQ: 62 -2, 250 -1, 1k +1, 4k +3, 8k -1, 16k +1. BassWave +1 (seems to hit more like 100Hz whereas 62Hz seems more like "rumble").

Fellow audio engineer here! The Pro 3 sounds like it's got (a little) more 2-3k lift, which definitely helps with things like vocal presence, but is especially crucial for in-ears (as opposed to headphones, speakers, etc). That boost makes things sound a lot more natural on sealed earbuds. Both sound pretty bright at the top end (8k), another acoustic effect unique to in-ears due to the combination of earbuds, ear tips, and ear canals. I had to EQ that down on my Pro 2s. I was surprised that the Pro 2 sounds like it has more bass, though.

Spatial Audio fixed a lot of the frequency response I didn't like from the Pro 2, and was honestly pretty cool for everyday use. Not recommended for critical listening, as it "smears" the sound just a bit.

Golden Sound was super helpful in balancing the sound against some minor hearing damage in my left ear - honestly, it was emotionally impactful the first time it was enabled after doing the sound test. Super recommend, even if you don't think your hearing is unbalanced or degraded. You can further EQ it after the Golden Sound adjustment.

Lost my Pro 2s a month ago, ordered Pro 3 while on sale... will report back when they come in :) thanks for the comparison!!

Got my OnePlus Buds Pro 3 a couple of days ago and really like them.

Only the ANC is a little "strange". Even when set on max, sounds like key rattling, voices, rattling of a bag, typing on a keyboard seem to get amplified and sound really shrill/bright. Especially when there's I am not listening to music or also when listening to a podcast on max volume.

Tested it with my old Sony WF-1000XM4, Airpods Pro2 or even the Sony Link Bud S snd here those sounds get "muffled" and so are less noticable.

Also tried other eartips like AZLA SednaEarfit MAX without an, difference
