Just receive mine in France yesterday ... ;-) Amazing how this little piece of hardware goes 10600 pts in Cinebench R23 in multicore and can run more than 9 hours on battery. The OLED screen is outstanding too.

Please stop with the "550nits of Peak brightness" BS...that's purposefully misleading and you know it. And NO one will believe you if you keep providing misleading information....Just tell the people the truth. For those who want to know the reality, the non-touch screen of this laptop is 400 nits (although multiple reviewers have measured far less that that...low to mid-300 nits) and the touch screen is 350 nits. This "550 nits of Peak brightness" is only applicable to HDR content and it's not a general brightness of the entire screen. That's not going to be what you will get through normal use. So saying that it's a 550 nit display would be like a car manufacturer quoting us gas mileage ratings measured while driving down a mountain with the car in neutral....of course you will get a great MPG rating in that situation. Is it NO!!!

While the theoretical 350nits/400nits is not too bad...you will find it difficult to use this screen in well lit environments because of the screen extreme mirror like reflectiveness. So just be aware.

BTW, last years model included a HDMI port and a USB-A port...that would have made this laptop infinitely more useful...believe it or not the vast majority of people still have USB-A devices (like mice, duh!) that they need to connect and they don't want to live the DONGLE life. Asus...please remember Function over Form not the other way around.

Also, it appears that the laptop only supports charging and display out on a single port. So you will have to choose...do I want to charge my laptop OR connect it to an external display....because you can't do both unless you must purchase a hub if you want to do both. With last year's model you could do both without dongles/hubs....I think the saying "one step forward two steps back" is completely appropriate with this years model.

Planning to purchase this one, as having the latest AMD processor and also having the RDNA 2 GPU (mobile) for that price is a big win for me... Plus its as thin as macbook air.. this is great for work

When do we get the other colours (other than Blue) in Europe?!?! It's difficult to get the ZenBook S 13 OLED, and impossible to get in any colour other than Blue. It's almost 2023 (in a few days)... may have to wait for the 2023 specs as the 2022 specs are almost outdated now.

Hi mine is UM5302TA-LV064W with 512GB SSD, how come this is not touch screen? I thought all S13 OLED are touchscreen, there is no clarity in terms of the product variations :(

All this PR is pointless if you’re not releasing soon- it will all be for nothing if the rumours of an October release are true! Please tell us sooner rather than later if we have to wait that long so we know whether to look for a different 12th Gen laptop brand that aren’t dragging out their release!

One thing that's missing in this overview is video output options: is it only the left USB-C port that can output Display Port?
