I'm in recovery & your content reminds me that I never want to go back to that life, luckily I never went to prison but was homeless & hit rock bottom on more than 1 occasion. I'm so grateful to have my flat now & be able to pay my bills ❤

My mom literally just asked me what my friend in prison would be eating today so I got to show her this and it was exactly what I told her it would be, half decent food 2 days a year 😢

My Father works as a prison guard and sometimes he works in the kitchen and most of the prisoners absolutely adore him for the food he gets and makes

I’ve never been to prison but I did spend 2 Christmases in rehab and I’m so glad bc now I get to enjoy every Christmas in control of my life. We do recover❤️.

I’m 27 and this was the first year I didn’t have Thanksgiving with my family. Not because they’re dead or anything, we just had different plans with my husband’s family this year. I still called and texted but I can’t imagine not getting to have that contact with them. Let’s all do our best to stay on this side of the bars

I had Thanksgiving in a nursing home/physical rehab facility yesterday. I’m vegetarian, so I didn’t get a difference in my food, but had the best bread pudding I ever tasted. I’m grateful, but I want to be home by Christmas to eat my husband’s cooking!
