They don't pay enough to do uber with, maintenance, insurance on you, insurance on your passenger, deprciation on your car, its a 1099 so you have to pay 15% out of your taxes every week, oil changes, and uber changed thier pay scale. 47 hrs pay use to pay $1500. Now they pay $1200 for 47 hrs. In St Louis, MO to make a profit, you have to run at during peak hrs which are 4a til 9a and then 2p till you run out of drive time. I did this for 6 months. I quit when thier pay scale took a $300 pay cut
