Woman accused of arson after Washington County apartment fire that injured 8

The smoke alarms actually were not working. The only reason why my sister escaped this fire in time is because she woke up to go to the bathroom and saw flames. Several other people at the scene reported the same issue, and witnesses have told me it was “eerie” that they did not hear any alarms as they watched the fire. This issue was immediately flagged on the scene.
