In the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, and Green Party parliamentary leader Elizabeth May make remarks on the National Day of Observance for victims of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). March 11 is the first anniversary of the World Health Organization’s declaration of a pandemic. To date, more than twenty-two thousand Canadians have died of COVID-19.
