Those "Sets of three sirens" are RCS thrusters. They are commonly used for precise control while docking.

I get many won't see this, but I'd like to explain the siren-looking pieces on the ship. They are actually Lego's representation of the real life RCS (Reaction Control System) thrusters that are present on basically all real life spacecraft. They are used to both translate and rotate around in space

Oh god! The first thing I thought when Is aw the cracked helmet was "they STILL haven't fixed that problem?" and then it was an in-joke. Well played, LEGO, well played indeed.

I have a friend from the Netherlands and he confirmed that when the power in his house goes out he has to open up the boiler cupboard and pull on a spring for thirty minutes.

The siren pieces that you find on spaceships look like RCS thruster ports, that might be why.

there has been SEVERAL grown men saying that the Lego movie is actually really GOOD! i was NOT planning on seeing it, as i was sure it was gonna be some classic child movie, but i'm gonna have to watch it now!

The 3 siren things are actually little booster things for changing direction without having to get out and push. I don't know if it's the actual name for it but in Kerbal Space Programme it's called RCS.

Stopped the video immediately after he told me to watch the movie, and so I did watch it and it was indeed really awesome and much better than I thought. And the Spaceship is also awesome.

I used to call them "weird set of three sirens", too - but I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be RCS maneuvering thrusters.

I've seen the Lego Movie twice on the way to and from Mexico on a plane. I was on anti anxiety meds though, so my memory is completely wiped. I get to enjoy it for the third time now.

YES. I was so hoping that Benny would have that crack in his helmet. He wouldn't be himself without it.

I'm actually impressed with all the little references to other LEGO stuff. I was never into LEGO when I was younger, so all of this trivia I never learned until now.

By the way, I noticed plain old pink Uni-Kitty sells for as much as the Cloud Cuckooland set she comes in (US$20). I wonder how much Uni-Kitty in a spacesuit sells for.

I don't care how old I am Ashen, If I paid 80 pounds for LEGO then you bet your sweet "A" I am going to play with it!

I am Dutch and I can confirm: The Netherlands runs on spring Power Stations.

This review makes so much more sense now that I've actually seen the movie in all it's sheer awesomeness about fifty times and made my brother, who used to love LEGO and still seems to like it a might, watch it.

It reminds me of some of the space ships that appeared in the series Mind Wars from late 70s/early 80s comic Star Lord, (later merged with 2000AD).

Almost certain that those "sirens" are supposed to represent vernier thrusters or ACS thrusters, something along the lines.

Brings back memories of playing with the spaceship Lego set, parents didn't buy them, i played with the set my granddad had which i presume was one of the older ones. i played with all the old Lego sets which apparently my uncle used to play with. I do love the helmet thing where it breaks easily because the ones i played with, all 3 space men had their helmets snapped.
