This might explain children having the same fear as their guardians. When their guardians panic or scream at the creatures or things they're scared of, the children associate that creature or thing with the fear they see in their guardians, and end up inheriting the fear.

Not as bad as the Monster Experiment, where this guy literally programed stutters and social disconnect into children before they could actually build solid speech patterns, ending with the children ending close friendships, becoming so socially anxious about their "stutters", that some of them refused to talk at all for years. Some of the effects lasted until the children were in their 60's and 70's, and they never gave consent to the experiment in the first place.

The kid got scarred for life 😢. Unfortunately that wasn’t long since, from what I remember from AP Psychology, the kid died at the age of 6, and he was the kid of a nurse at the university that administrated the study.

Sometimes certain experiments seem so innately obvious like this that it almost doesn’t make sense to test it. Yeah, babies will get upset at something that consistently makes them uncomfortable, we already knew that. But then again we had to figure out war psychologically ruins people so ig we just are newly aware of trauma in general
