What he DIDN'T say was that he ALSO got the blade because the boss is bugged and the blade has a 100% drop rate at the moment. The problem is that the bug has overwritten the normal drop table so the blade is the ONLY loot you get.

This unironically was a friend of mine who while playing destiny 2 with us would constantly get exotics to the point I knew he got one when he went completely silent because he didn't want to give a reaction knowing I was tired of his bullshit luck

This is so true as to how RNG seems to work in games. I so often get the 1% or lower drops in my first couple of runs and am stuck farming for the more common drops of 40% or higher failing to get them over and over again
