I've been an avid fan of Dream Theater for 15 years or so.

Hearing this however makes me feel personally that James's voice is no longer being utilised as it realistically should it DT. He sounds fantastic here, no excessive post-processing/modulation & melodies that are written for him rather than to play second fiddle to a monstrous rhythm section. Obviously this project is written with him in mind and I appreciate. But I just can't get over how much better he sounds here. Chills hearing Theresa Thompson too!
