Holistic Tarot from Benebell Wen - book review

I purchased Holistic Tarot after reading a sample and found it to be my kind of book. The research that went into it is impressive and her style is probably influenced by her career background which is she practices law (mergers and acquisitions corporate lawyer). She has a website that has a lot of great info on many topics and it contains a study guide for the book also. I use the 1990 Universal Waite tarot deck and for some reason, it resonates with me. This was the first thorough and honest review on this book I've come across and you are one of the very few that have actually read it. I see alot of creators promoting this without ever having read it. My brain works like yours and I've been learning from the more complex imagery decks verses the traditional one because those are the ones that have caught my attention and really connect with. Thank you thank you thank you for your thoughts on this book. I'm not going to get it as I think it would just be overwhelming.

I dislike the Waite Smith deck because of the art. The colours and the Middle Ages. I probably had a few horrible lives in the the Middle Ages. I had that deck for 10-15 years, I couldn’t learn it. Since 2019 I started to buy other decks. I have an awesome cat (Grimalkin) deck and I really connect well with them. Last year i bought Benebell’s deck. She is amazing, but very in-depth, professional and a perfectionist. I don’t know how she does all the things she does and is able to store all the information she learns in her brain. I can’t remember and learn all those things 😂😂😭
