Can’t believe I watched all of that … mindless discussions about slope, greens, course layout, centre of green, bunkers . Ridiculous absolutely ridiculous .. I loved it 😂

Just getting back into golf after 25 year break. Never even heard of a rangefinder until watching your utube channel. Relying on the scorecard for yardages back in the day. Go coach

Love my GPS as it is very accurate at my home course. I am not accurate enough to use a range finder....just aim for the middle of the green to stay away from trouble.

GPS is great for unfamiliar courses, but i shy away from the subscription burdened stuff. I've been using a laser rangefinder for the last 15 years or so. Love it. Hangs off the bag on my push cart. Many better courses have course guides / pin sheets which are very helpful. I don't like wearing a watch when i golf so thats a no go for me.

I have the Voice Caddie SL2 Hybrid GPS and laser range finder. Best of both worlds!

LOL… What a great test. Zapping the pin while on the green is just hilarious…or brilliant. I’m currently using an app called The Grint, which has maps, front, back, and middle of the green, etc. and it uploads my score without me thinking about it after finishing a round. I also use a very old Callaway laser, but it’s on rare occasion that it comes out of the back since I’m a bit lazy and it’s a bit dodgy here and there without any target lock on it. I still have to do maths…which is part of the fun for me. I appreciate the banter and the video though! B roll is super nice! Great looking course…

Solution. Use both. I have the Bushnell products, watch and range finder. Check pin distances and scan the green. Use the watch to get hazard and green information.

I use both, after trying a combo gps and range finder. I'm trying the garmin Z82, and it shows the green shape, too. Also, you should do a video comparing the 3 options: GPS, range finder, and combo, to see the best score between the 3 options.

Mark nailed it - most are not that accurate. GPS works fine for this 10 handicap. I have bought 2 range finders and given them both away after I didn’t use them ever :)

Always Hole19 and its free, gives me all I need as can see hazards n what to carry onto green vs fixated with a range finder to shoot the pin

I use GolfPad GPS on my watch, front middle and back with slope is good enough for me, middle of the green works

I use both, SwingU app on my phone for the GPS & to track my score, and then a rangefinder as well.

Good to see you both still hate each other 🤣

I have the Z82 from garmin. Gps and rangefinder in one. ⛳

That's why I prefer my SwingU app which shows an actual satellite imagery that you can click on to see actual distances.. they have green maps too but I don't use it as I mostly same courses all the time.. I use Laser for approach shots though.

gps gives me enough info as a 18 handicap, but can see the advantage of range finder on larger greens

I use both but my rangefinder is the best item I've ever brought in golf.

*Range finder tip: Put your car keys in the case so that you don’t forget and leave it on the cart. 😉

I use both. Gps is good for blind shots, layups and hazards but laser the flag every time I’m going for the flag
