First time I saw them was in Atlanta Georgia, Grant Stadium 1977. They blew the place up! It was awesome.

This was recorded three months before "In Color" was released in September, 1977 ... and yet there are "Heaven Tonight" songs on it, a record that came out another year later! They must have had a ton of tunes stockpiled when they were signed by CBS. Saw them for the first time a couple of months after this was recorded in Los Angeles, in August of 1977 as the opening band for Kiss on the day Elvis died, at the San Francisco Cow Palace. What a day that was.

Good job! Excellence. I have a turntable that sounds like that. It's 43 years old.

FARK this is sooo goood! Was in my final year of 'high' school over here in New Zealand in 1980, was 16 goin on 17. There was a stereo in the Prefects prefab and one day a fellow Prefect bought along some vinyl in the form of Cheap Trick Live At Budokan. Now we 'Prefects' were really a bunch of stuck up the jaxside nerds tasked with the role of 'policing' 'bad' behavior by the school's students...So...on that day when Cheap Trick Live At Budokan got spun on the turntable in the Prefect's prefab...well...what more can I say...we all got REALLY educated!
