Why would they make the "travel mat" (yeah, it's a thin blanket) fold into FIFTHS along the top to fold back up? Quarters would work. Thirds would work. Even sixths would work. Once the creases are gone, you would actually have to lay it on the floor to try to fold it up and make it work. So I got out my reading glasses and carefully snipped and seam-ripped the flap and velcro off. The velcro was snagging my clothes the whole time, anyway! (Aside from that, I kinda love it.)

I vote Loot Crate, though I don't know if I'd ever get it for full price again-- first because they condition people to never pay full price with all their coupon codes, and also because full price has been too much for what you get for a while now. I do appreciate that their items are licensed and generally more useful. Too much dust collecting knick-knacks from Geek Gear, and the quality (except for the shirts) can be really dodgy.

I think the value is better in the lootcrate for me with the things I like, I've seen a few of the geekgear items a lot cheaper on a Chinese website. I prefer to get the geekgear past boxes when they're reduced prices.

I’d say geek gear over loot crate, if you’d asked me a year ago when loot crate was better, and had more items I would have gone with them

I've skipped the Lootcrate part cause mine hasn't come yet. 🙈😂 But I tend to prefer Geekgear over loot. x
