Hey guys, in this video I will show you how to cut your own side swept bangs or fringe. When cutting your own hair at home, I recommend you dry cut or cut your hair while it is dry. If your hair is wavy, you may need to blow dry it straight or use a flat iron to straighten it first. I don't recommend cutting your bangs wet as it will shrink after it dries so for accuracy, please cut dry hair. Another important note is to never ever cut your bangs straight across with your hair cutting shears, unless you are a hair dresser and know what you're doing it. Most often than not, it won't turn out well. Always trim a little bit of length at a time and use the point cutting technique to eliminate room for mistakes. I know it might be intimidating to cut your own bangs at first but once you know how and start practicing, the better you'll get at it! Have fun and thanks for watching!
