20:42 - How do you open "Unreal insights session browser" in UE 5.2 ? ... You folks kind of missed a bit part of what is needed to learn how to use the tool :D . If I had to guess from reading the docs I would think that this tool is only available by building it in visual studio is that correct? Because I sure cannot see it in UE5 anywhere in Tools or Build.

23:29 there is no Package option in 5.2 or Insights 1.3. I spent a whole day on this, traced it to the source code of the dropdown in and the option is simply not there. So I have no way to see the asset paths. WTF???

I'm wondering, since there is no console command for shipping build, how do you profile a shipping build using UnrealInsight?

Haven't watched the whole thing yet but I think it would be nice if some how unreal insights could know when performance is being eaten up the Editor so we can get a better idea in Editor what our game is doing.

I realize the current best practice though is to just build it and profile on the build.

Reminds me of the aggregated Unity's profiler data (Profile Analyzer), as much detailed. I guess now both engine go head to head on this field.
UPD: I take that back, looks like they dont have comparison between captures yet.

well, what i understand, trace is useless and if you want to find the cause you should run insight . You have to package your project . if i dont miss something, it is a useless that we use trace? or trace is something for insight?
