Why are people saying lifesteal on buildings wasn't intended? Mongol raiders looting is kind of their whole thing, it's very much on brand for them and it synergizes with their resource plunder mechanic. Healing up damaged keshiks by torching random outlying buildings is probably the primary intended use of the mechanic.

historically keshiks are khan's elite body guards division, where khan's sons and grandsons or some talented young blood relatives were trained trough until they receive their private group of soliers or army. while becoming the keshik those didnt only learn tactics and strategies but also studied administrative duties. on the other hand mangudais or manghut tribesmen were light warriors of special missions who can be compared to today's special forces in each country

the abbasid player simply lacked production. he threw away a ton of villagers making keeps that could be gathering food and with 3k wood in the bank only had 3-4 barracks.

I like how you're incentivized to go after raiding buildings with this lifesteal mechanic. You replenish and get resources at the same time! Maybe they should make it so that only when you kill a unit or building you get healed? Idk much about the balance of this mechanic yet.

Keshiks are not really that OP. This abbasid player is just really terrible, too many questionable decisions, bad micro.

Kashiks gets destroyed by Knights. Played few games versus French and the knights just owned Kashiks. This is not a buff, but another nerf by replacing Lancers...

The "smart" health bars seem to be bugged. Lots of times there are units on screen with reduced health, but their health bars aren't shown.
