It's pretty sad to see Lucky's mother die in a "stunt gone wrong" scenario. I was shocked when I saw that movie.

The opening surprised me when I first saw it, I did not see that coming. I thought what happened to Lucky's mom was going to be the same as the Netflix series. ( Milagro's passing was from an illness in the series version.) But, the movie is very beautiful, I recommend watching it.

I had a feeling that was what happened to her mother because in the trailer her father tells her to stay away from Spirit which hinted at something of a horse related accident

I just watched the film today and I honestly thought it was a great film
