Just got a GS66 and the noise was exactly the same . Sounds like a jet fighter about to take off . Also gets very hot .

Go into BIos reduce PL1 To 50w and unlock XTU capability, undervolt to as clos to -0.1 or more if possible ur temps will be kept in check, iuninstall dragon center 1st and install silent option....with th9is ull see ur temps come down quickly, if u want to go into it more repasting is ideal.

It is not a problem, mine is the same, fans are just powerful and that's why it is so noisy. Fans work correctly and cool very quick

Same was happening to me. Make sure you put MShybrid mode through dragon centre and set gpu to auto select on nvidia control panel and optimal power. Use super battery when performing daily task or silent when you game. Make sure to update bios and firmware for the fans

I got this problem. Easy fixed. Mine came with older Bios and EC firmware. The cpu cores always run at 4, 5 Ghz. Download new versions, follow instructions and updates both. Now is run with dynamic speeds. Now mine is quiet.

Switch off turbo mode when not using any performance demanding application, the noise will stop.

How old is it? If it's old you should check amd clean for dust, might be a lot of dust.

When I play CP77 it play fine and smooth, until the game start lagging like there is no nvidia in my laptop and fan start at maximum speed and can’t be turned off the temperature reads 45C

Totally normal actually. Had the same computer. It's just getting hot so they ramp up to keep temps under control. Dual Frozr bruh 0.1mm bruh

That’s because you have your charger plugged into the laptop run dragon center as administrator and change the user scenario to silent if you want it to be quiet

bro i have the same model as you and it makes a terrible noise even when i don't play anything. if you open the dragon center and put the pc in silent mode, go to monitor and how fast does the cpu fan go ??? . Mine about 2800

Hello! I am thinking of buying this laptop, but I am afraid that this problem will happen to me, do you recommend this pc or which one do you suggest?

You shouldn't use norton btw make sure no background apps are running for the best experience, configure fan states & modes in dragon center

Do you have coolerboost on or extreme performance? Also what are the actual temps when that is happening?

Just because the fans spin up doesnt mean it is overheating. I have the i9 2080 super model and it is only loud if im gaming in extreme performance mode or turn on coolerboost.

I don’t remember what kind of MSI laptop I have, all I remember is that it runs on an rtx 3060. but yesterday, I closed the lid of the laptop with vrchat running in the background, and when I opened it back up, the fans did that. I shut it down and turned it back on and loaded up vrchat. After 30 minutes of playing, the fans kicked on again. It keeps happening, is there any fix?

A lot of MSI laptops over heats, mine gets to 50C just by being turned. 60C if I open chrome.
