The part where you said it's not a disk I believe its a code that you put in the PS5 home page like a redeem product code.

Finally got on the Amazon list and ordered my PS5 bundle today. $559. First update will be a 2TB nvme gen4 SSD for extra storage.

1A on the controller means the updated version. I thought, for sure, you'd have a pop-up for that!🤣.
I just learned that. Apparently they updated the controllers to fix the drift/stick issues.
