Ahead of the second phase polling in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lashed out at the Samajwadi Party and said that Vikas was never their agenda. Praising PM Modi and BJP, he said, “We waived loans of 64,000 farmers in Etah, we provided a pension of ₹12,000 for widowed and senior citizens, it was our government which gave free ration to the needy, poor got houses, poor got toilets and tablets and smartphones to students." While polling will be held on all assembly seats of Uttarakhand and Goa, the second phase will see voting on 55 constituencies of Uttar Pradesh covering nine districts: Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Budaun and Shahjahanpur.
